Job Summary:

You will be responsible for setting up and operating the digital print, CNC, heat transfer printing and laser engraving machines, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that all printed pieces meet our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret job orders to understand order specifications.
• Set up and calibrate digital print, CNC, heat transfer printing, and laser engraving machines.
• Operate digital print, CNC, heat transfer, and laser engraving machines to run orders and meet production requirements while ensuring high-quality output.
• Inspect printed and engraved items for quality control, identifying and resolving issues such as misalignment, ink consistency, or defects.
• Load and move stock items through the digital printing and engraving processes, ensuring items align with job specifications.
• Accurately measure, count, and stack products while maintaining efficiency.
• Prepare print and engraving files for optimal output, including tasks such as imposition, color management, and file conversion.
• Perform routine machine cleaning, minor equipment maintenance, and repairs.
• Troubleshoot production and quality issues, which may require online and over-the-phone conversations with machine experts.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers, team leaders, and management to understand requirements and provide updates.
• Follow all safety rules and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S standards, to support efficient printing operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors to support production goals.

Qualifications:

• College degree in printing technology, CNC operations, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or related fields strongly preferred.
• Experience with machinery, especially digital print, CNC, heat transfer printing, and laser engraving machines in a production environment is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Basic English reading and comprehension skills to understand job orders.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Comfort with technology and applying it to solve problems.
• Ability to accurately use and read measurement tools.
• Knowledge in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 35 lbs. regularly (occasionally up to 50 lbs.), and perform repetitive movements, including bending, twisting, and reaching.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
