Order Information
Blank Orders: EQP pricing on stock item orders with no imprint. Catalog quantity blank orders will ship within 24-hours, pending stock, credit approval and if received by 1:00 P.M. CT. Contact Ariel for details on blank orders requiring large quantities, same-day shipping, or CPSIA tracking labels.
Verbal Orders: A verbal order is acceptable for catalog and/or random sample requests only.
Below Catalog Minimum: $35.00(v) for stock item orders.
Over Catalog Quantities: Quote required before placing order. Contact Ariel for details
Over/Under Runs: 5% possible over/under. Quantities shipped will be invoiced. Exact quantity request will incur a $25.00(v) charge.
Cancellations: $32.00(v) per order plus all other costs incurred up to the time of cancellation.
Claims: Must make notification within 30 calendar days of original shipment. Also see Returns section.
Co-op Programs: Available on stock items only. Products selected must be for the same program. Co-op quote does not guarantee inventory. Contact Ariel for details.
Production Time For Stock Items: Five business days for catalog quantities up to 2500 imprints, pending stock availability, final proof, credit approval, and imprinting method.
Rush Service: One-day, two-day and three-day rush services are available upon request for up to 2,500 imprints for most stock items. Production capacity, inventory and imprinting method may limit rush availability. Order submission deadlines apply. One-day and two-day rush order proofs are automatically waived with no proof edits available. A one-day rush charge
of $0.40(v) per imprint is applied. Same-day rush is available on certain items, with a charge of $0.50(v) per imprint. Contact Ariel for full details and rush service availability.
Samples: Random sample orders totaling up to $10(z) are sent at no charge when a valid shipper account number is provided. For samples shipping outside the USA a shipper account number for freight and duties/taxes is required. Samples ship within 24-48 hours of order receipt. Contact Ariel for same day sample requests.
Artwork
Artwork E-Mail: art@arielpremium.com
Art Requirements: Digital formats accepted are e-mail and CD. FTP site by request only. Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop files in a format of: AI, EPS, TIFF, BMP, or PDF compatible with PC platform and fonts converted to outlines (vector curves).
Bitmap (resolution based) art must be at least 600 DPI at imprint size, with a preference for 1200 DPI. Purchase order number must be shown in e-mail subject line or on disc. No half-tones, gradients or faxed artwork.
Recreating Artwork: Available at Art Department’s discretion.
$50.00(v) per hour, one-hour minimum. Art charges are advised in advance of correcting art. Ariel assumes the sender of the artwork has obtained all logo authorization before submitting.
Typesetting: $15.00(v) for straight type, $25.00(v) for curved type or font matching. One typesetting charge per order. Normal setup charges apply.
Imprint Size: Artwork is sized to the maximum imprint area, unless otherwise requested. Due to the orientation of some logos, artwork may be resized and smaller than the imprint area.
Artwork Edits: After initial artwork is completed, one edit to artwork will be provided at no charge. Any additional artwork edit requests by the customer will incur a charge of $10.00(v) per edit.
Imprint Methods
Imprint: Defined as one-color, one-location each time ink is transferred onto an item, with the exception of four- color process.
Pad Printing:
Plates: Physical plates are archived for two years.
Setup Charge: $50.00(v) per color/ logo/ plate.
Re-Setup Charge: $15.00(v) per color/ logo/ plate when previous order is less than two years before current reorder.
Run Charge: $0.20(v) per color/imprint after the first imprint.
$0.40(v) run charge applies to all gel items after the first.
Screen Printing:
Used for larger imprint areas on flat and/or fabric items (including bags).
Setup Charge: $50.00(v) per color/ logo/ screen.
Re-Setup Charge: $15.00(v) per color/ logo/ screen when previous order is less than two years before current reorder.
Run Charge: $0.35(v) per color/imprint after the first.
Four-Color Process/ Heat Transfer:
Used for photo quality printing on certain fabric items. Requires 7-10 business days after proof approval and credit release.
Minimum: 250 piece minimum. For less than minimum, a fee of $100.00(v) per order will apply.
Setup: Waived for 2013 on CMYK/Four-Color Heat Transfer artwork. Logos in spot color format or those requiring PMS matches may incur additional charges. Contact the Ariel for details.
Application charge: $1.00(v) per location, per transfer.
Digital Full-Color Printing:
Available for selected items only. See item details. Production time 5-8 business days following art approval.
Setup: $50.00 (v) per art, per location
Run Charge: $0.38(v) per location, per piece
Ink Color Change: $20.00(v) per change, per logo/plate/screen.
Metallic Ink Imprints: Due to packaging requirements, a $0.20(v) per item fee applies for bulk packed items.
PMS Imprint Colors: $50.00(v) per color, per order. A PMS color is matched as close as possible, however absolute color match is not guaranteed due to product surface and color.
Proofs and Confirmations
Art Proof and Confirmation: Are sent via email at no charge
1-2 business days after receipt of order and workable art. Approval of artwork, pricing, and ship date is required before production and ship dates are scheduled. Late art approval may delay production.
A proof is sent on every imprinted order including reorder, unless the PO clearly indicates proof is waived. Orders requesting “proof waived” with artwork concerns or pricing discrepancies will require approval prior to production. For orders with proofs waived, a “Ship Date” confirmation will be sent with a courtesy layout, not in need of approval. Proofs for rush orders shipped within two-day are automatically waived. See below.
Rush Order Proofs: Three-day and four-day rush orders will receive an art proof unless “Proof Waived” is listed on the purchase order. Proofs for same-day, one-day and two-day rush orders are waived for rush service requirements. Rush services may not be available on certain items and imprinting methods. Please contact Ariel
to confirm rush availability and pricing.
Pre Production Proof (PPP)/Spec Sample/Digital Proof: Purchase order required. Applicable charges will be invoiced. Digital proofs require an additional $25.00(v) processing fee. Please contact Ariel for specific detail including charges and production time for stock and non-stock items.
Virtual/ Mockup Proofs: Purchase order not required. However, production time may vary as in-house orders take priority. Charges may apply pending complexity, number of items, and/ or art modifications. A PDF with logo placement is used as the virtual/ mockup proof. Shipping/Packaging
Shipping Methods: UPS, FedEx or truck line by request
Other Shipping Methods: USPS is available for APO addresses only. Package tracking may not be available.
International Shipments:
Canada Shipments: Are shipped duties/taxes, freight and brokerage pre-paid on Ariel’s UPS Account, unless otherwise noted on purchase order, and with an alternative shipper account number provided. Pricing is in USD. Visit arielpremium.com for Canadian pricing. Contact Ariel to for applicable duties/taxes.
Destinations outside USA and Canada: Contact Customer Service for details as additional charges and/or restrictions may apply. Ariel is not responsible for any delivery delays due to Customs clearing processes.
Note: Billing information is required for all orders shipping on a 3rd party shipper account number. Orders intended for Mexico must ship to a broker in the USA.
C.O.D. Orders: Not Available
Returns: Must have Return Authorization Number for Ariel to accept delivery. Please contact Ariel before returning any merchandise. A $32.00(v) restocking fee may apply for blank goods.
Drop/Split Shipments: $10.00(v) per address after first address, plus freight charges. A $32.00(v) repackaging fee for split addresses not received with the initial order.
Individual Item Packaging: Stress relievers are generally bulk packaged. Packaging for all other items is included in product detail. Factory reserves the right to poly-bag any product at no charge. To individually poly-bag bulk shipped items a charge of $0.20(v) per item is applied. Specific packaging requirements, beyond one piece per poly-bag may be available at additional charges. Incorrect Shipping Address/Account: $32.00(v) per destination plus additional carrier charges per package for addresses corrected and/or changed.
Miscellaneous
Trademark Usage: Trademarks, logos, etc. illustrated do not indicate endorsement. Imprints shown herein are to demonstrate printing ability. We reserve the right to use all printing images in our advertising and displays unless otherwise notified in writing at the time of order.
Product Safety: Ariel products are safety tested and meet U.S. market standards for promotional products. Our products are intended for adult and general use and not intended for children under 3-years. CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act), testing is completed on various products. CPSIA is not pre-labeled on most items. Orders intended for children 12-years or younger require a CPSIA tracking label imprint in order to be in compliance with CPSIA. This additional imprint is $0.13(v) per item for gel items and $0.08(v) for all other products. For a product safety testing results, visit arielpremium.com and click on the Safety Report link. Products may be embossed or labeled with country of origin and/or Ariel copyright/patent information.
Product Uniformity: Product color, design, texture, and /or density may vary with inventory replenishments. Imprinting methods used are adjusted by hand-eye coordination. While every effort is made for imprint consistency, a totally uniform imprint on each piece cannot be guaranteed.

Stock Imprint Colors:
Absolute color match cannot be guaranteed.
Stock Art
Perfect for use on many Line Line styles. If stock art is used in addition to a second side imprint, a run charge of $.20(v) will occur. Unless the product is labeled price includes a one color stock face.
