Order Information

Blank Orders:

Products without imprints will be priced at EQP, with no minimum quantity required. Valid for stock items only. Orders will ship within 24 hours pending stock and credit approval, if received by 1:00 p.m. CT. Call for information on same day shipping or orders requiring CPSIA tracking labels.

Verbal Orders:

Verbal orders are not accepted, with the exception of random sample or catalog requests.

Below Catalog Minimum:

(Stock items only) $35.00(v) for quantities below the listed catalog minimum.

Over Catalog Quantities:

All orders above catalog quantities must be individually quoted.

Over/Under Runs:

Allow 5% possible over/under. Quantities shipped will be invoiced. Exact quantity request at time of order will incur a $25.00(v) charge. Requests for no over runs (under runs acceptable) are at no charge.

Cancellations:

$32.00(v) per order plus all other costs incurred up to the time of cancellation.

Claims:

Must be made within 30 calendar days of original shipment. (Also see Returns.)

Co-op Programs:

Products must have some basic identifying art or copy reflecting program name. Available on stock items /catalog quantities only with a written quote. Call for details

Production Time For Stock Items:

Five business days for catalog quantities on stock orders up to 2500 imprints, pending stock availability, final proof and credit approval.

Rush Service:

1-day to 3-day rush service available upon request for most stock items, pending production capacity. You must call to confirm rush availability and cutoff times prior to placing your order. Proofs will be automatically waived for 1-day and 2-day rushes. Same day rushes may also be available. Restrictions apply to gel products, bags and over catalog quantity orders. Rush request must be indicated with in-hands date on your purchase order.

Samples:

Random sample orders totaling up to $10(z) will be at no charge with a valid shipper account number for freight and duties/taxes where applicable. Samples typically ship out within 24-48 hours of order receipt. Call for same day sample requests.

Imprinting

Artwork E-Mail:

E-mail art to art@arielpremium.com.

Art Requirements:

Digital Formats: E-mail & CD. FTP site by request only. Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop files up to CS5 in the following formats: AI, EPS, TIFF, BMP, or PDF compatible with PC platform and fonts converted to outlines (vector curves). Bitmap (resolution based) art must be at least 600 DPI at imprint size, with a preference for 1200 DPI. Purchase order number must be shown in e-mail subject line or on disc. No half-tones, gradients or faxed artwork. Call for camera-ready artwork information.

Recreating Artwork:

Available at art department’s discretion. $50.00(v) per hour, one-hour minimum. Art charges will be advised in advance of correcting art. Ariel assumes that customers prior to sending artwork have received all logo authorization.

Typesetting:

$15.00(v) for straight type, $25.00(v) for curved type. One typesetting charge per order. Normal setup charges still apply.

Imprint Size:

Artwork will be sized to the maximum imprint area unless otherwise requested. Due to the orientation of some logos, your artwork may be sized smaller than the imprint area.

Artwork Edits:

After initial artwork is completed, one edit to artwork will be provided at no charge. Any additional artwork edits instigated by the customer will incur a charge of $10.00(v) per edit.

Imprint Methods

Imprint:

Is defined as 1-color, 1-location.

Pad Printing:

Plates will be kept for up to two years. Method used on most items.

• Setup Charge: $50.00(v) per color/imprint/plate.
• Re-Setup Charge: $15.00(v) per color/imprint/plate if previous order is less than two years prior to order.
• Run Charge: $0.20(v) per color/imprint after the first per piece. $0.40(v) run charges will apply for the following items: LGB-AB09, LGB-CC01, LGB-GM07, LGB-EM07, LGB-PD10, LGB-CY10, LGB-SD10, LGB-SS11, WOR-FL07.

Screen Printing:

Used for larger imprint areas on flat and/or fabric items.

• Setup Charge: $50.00(v) per color/imprint/screen.
• Re-Setup Charge: $15.00(v) per color/imprint/screen if previous order is less than two years prior to order.
• Run Charge: $0.35(v) per color/imprint after the first, per piece.

Vivid View Photo/Heat Press:

Used for photo quality printing on certain fabric items. Requires 7-10 business days after proof approval.

• Minimum: 250 piece minimum. For less than minimum, a fee of $40.00(v) per order will apply.
• Setup: Waived for 2012 for CMYK artwork. Logos in spot color format or those requiring PMS matches will incur additional charges. Contact the art department for details.
• Application charge: $1.00(v) per location, per piece.

Ink Color Change:

$20.00(v) per change, per logo/plate/screen.

Metallic Imprints:

Due to packaging requirements, a charge of $0.20(v) will apply for bulk packed items (excluding bags)

PMS Imprint Colors:

$50.00(v) per color, per order. PMS match will come as close as possible, however absolute color match cannot be guaranteed on all surfaces.

Proofs

Order Proof and Confirmation:

Sent out at no charge 1-2 business days after receipt of order and workable art. Approval of artwork, pricing, and ship date must be received prior to order entering production. If proof is to be waived, “Proof Waived” must be stated on the purchase order. Orders with artwork problems or pricing discrepancies will require approval prior to production. When proofs are waived a copy of the layout will be sent with the shipping confirmation.

Rush Order Proofs:

3-day and 4-day rushes will receive a proof and order confirmation unless “Proof Waived” is listed on the purchase order. Proofs will be automatically waived for 1-day & 2-day rushes, as well as for same-day rushes, if available. Please call to confirm pricing on all rushes prior to placing order to prevent discrepancies.

Product Proofs/Spec Samples/Digital Product Proofs:

Requires normal setup charges, run charges if applicable, plus item cost and freight. Rush charges may apply. Digital proofs will have an additional charge of $25.00(v). If no changes made to imprint, order re-setup charges apply. Return written approval required. Stock items only; additional charges apply for non-stock and custom items.

Virtual & Mockup Proofs:

Virtual and mockup proofs are often offered at no charge by our art department. Virtualproofs are an image of an item with logo placement, and mockups are a logo placed on a layout template in black/white or color. Charges may apply for multiple items or for complex artwork /artwork requiring factory alteration. Art charges are non-refundable. Many virtual samples may be completed online at arielpremium.com. All in-house orders will take priority over Mockup Proofs and a proof time cannot be guaranteed.

Shipping/Packaging

Other Shipping Methods:

To ship via United States Postal Service, a charge of $6.25(v) per carton will be required.

International Shipments:

• Canada: Shipped duties & taxes prepaid on Ariel’s UPS account unless a shipper account number is provided on the purchase order. Pricing is in USD. Visit: arielpremium.com for Canadian pricing or to calculate the duties/taxes for your order.
• Other Destinations: Consignee will be responsible at delivery for any customs charges incurred upon delivery,unless otherwise arranged at the time of order.
• Note: When using a 3rd party shipper account to pay for freight & customs charges you must supply the bill-to address for the account used. Ariel Premium supply is not responsible for customs delays. Orders shipping into Mexico must bill to a 3rd party shipper account.

Returns:

Returns must have prior authorization and must include approved Return Authorization number to be accepted by warehouse. For approved blank order returns, a $32.00(v) restocking fee will apply.

Drop/Split Shipments:

Add $10.00(v) per shipment address after first address, plus freight charges. A $32.00(v) repackaging fee may apply if split request is made after the initial order is placed.

Individual Item Packaging:

Packaging is listed for all items except Stress Relievers. Substitutions are not available for products listing packaging. Stress Relievers are typically bulk packed. Factory may poly-bag Stress Relievers at discretion at no charge. Products/packaging may be labeled with country of origin. To individually poly-bag bulk shipped Stress Relievers a charge of $0.20(v) will apply. Please call for pricing for multiple items per poly-bag, customer supplied label application and/or special shipping box quantities.

Incorrect Shipping Address/Account:

$32.00(v) per destination plus carrier charges for incorrect address or account provided.

Miscellaneous

Trademark Usage:

Trademarks, logos, etc. illustrated DO NOT indicate endorsement by their owners, and are NOT for sale except by their owners. They are shown herein to demonstrate factory printing and production ability. We reserve the right to use all products in our advertising and displays unless otherwise specified by trademark/logo owners in writing at the time of order.

Product Safety:

Ariel’s products are safety tested to be sold in the U.S. market and are intended for adult and general use. Ariel’s products are not intended for children under 3 or for pets. CPSIA testing has been completed on various products; however, most items are not pre-labeled with CPSIA tracking labels. In compliance with CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act), any order primarily intended for children under the age of 12 requires Ariel to imprint a tracking label on each item. There will be a charge of $0.13(v) to provide labels on gel items, and $0.08(v) for all other products. Products may be embossed or labeled with country of origin and/or Ariel’s copyright/patent information.

Product Uniformity:

Colors or design of stock items may vary slightly from one order to the next. The imprints are pad or screen-printed and adjusted by hand-eye coordination. We cannot guarantee a totally uniform imprint on each product. Every effort will be made to keep imprints as consistent as possible. Density of Stress Relievers may vary, due to material properties.

Pricing:

In the event of an unexpected price increase due to changes in costs, factory will advise upon receipt of order. For the most current pricing, please visit arielpremium.com, or contact customer service.

Product Availability:

Published products may be substituted or discontinued during the calendar year at factory discretion. In the event of such a change, Ariel will advise as soon as possible.

Non-Stock/Custom Items:

Non-stock/Custom items are products that are not carried in domestic inventory, and are produced overseas/offsite. Please see arielpremium.com for a complete list of non-stock/custom items. Certain stock items can be customized/altered overseas as well. Please see our website for more information, or contact our special orders department.

Stock Imprint Colors:

Absolute color match cannot be guaranteed.

Stock Art

Perfect for use on many Line Line styles. If stock art is used in addition to a second side imprint, a run charge of &2.00(v) will occur. Unless the product is labeled price includes a one color stock face.

White Imprints: Work best on dark colored products.
